2024/25 Panini University of Connecticut Basketball Blaster: Box Guide

The appeal of the 2024/25 Panini University of Connecticut Collegiate Basketball Trading Card Box (Blaster) is the school itself. Panini brings together members of the men's and women's basketball teams alongside key legends, giving a Huskies collector several ways to build around one program. The box has six four-card packs, with Red, White, and Blue and Donut parallels among its advertised attractions. Panini's official product listing identifies this exact blaster as SKU 2-19194-20.

What comes in the UConn blaster

The parallel figures are averages, so they should guide expectations rather than become a promise about an individual box. For a UConn collection, their usefulness is straightforward: they offer variations to seek once you have chosen the players you want to collect. A parallel of a favorite player can be a more satisfying addition than a chase card that has little connection to your collection.

Panini's $30 listing is a direct-store asking price, not a resale comp or evidence of what the cards inside are worth. Treat it as a box-shopping reference; check the linked store page for current price and availability.

Prizm inserts, autographs and the bigger chases

Panini names Prizm Fearless, Prizm Fireworks and Prizm Student Orientation among the inserts. It also advertises randomly inserted autographs and calls On Campus and Color Blast super short print inserts. Those are the extra possibilities beyond the basic team-building appeal. The official product details give those names but do not provide pull odds, numbered print runs, a signer list or signature format.

That distinction matters when choosing the box. Randomly inserted autographs offer a chance at a signed card, not an autograph in every blaster. Likewise, the super short print designation makes On Campus and Color Blast interesting targets without establishing how many boxes it takes to find one. Choose the product because its UConn cards belong in your collection, with those chases adding interest to the opening.

Building a collection around the Huskies

The combination of men's basketball, women's basketball and legends is the strongest reason to consider this release. It gives a school-focused collection room for players from both teams alongside figures from the program's past. Panini's reference to the current teams belongs to this 2024/25 product description; it should not be read as a promise of the October 2026 rosters.

If a particular athlete is the reason you are buying, verify that athlete's card before committing to a box. For a broader Huskies collection, the blaster offers a compact opening with 24 cards and several advertised parallel and insert possibilities. For one specific autograph or parallel, looking for the individual card gives you a clearer route to the piece you actually want to own.
