2025-26 Panini Obsidian Soccer puts its black opti-chrome design into a concentrated, seven-card Hobby box. Four of those cards are autographs or memorabilia cards, on average, while the new Hobby-exclusive Caldera parallel adds a numbered-to-25 chase. For collectors drawn to Obsidian's dark presentation, that combination gives this edition two clear points of interest: the autograph and memorabilia selection, and the parallels surrounding it. Panini's official Hobby listing

What comes in a Hobby box?

Each box contains one pack of seven cards, with 12 boxes in a Hobby case. Panini describes the following box contents as averages:

Card categoryPer Hobby box, on average
Autographs or memorabilia cards4 combined
Parallel1
Insert or insert parallel1
Base card1

The four-card headline covers autographs and memorabilia together; it does not promise four signatures. That distinction matters here because those categories occupy most of the pack. The parallel, insert and base card account for the remaining three slots, giving the black opti-chrome design a role beyond the autograph and memorabilia cards.

Caldera /25, Contra and Black Color Blast

Caldera is the new addition to watch. Panini identifies it as a Hobby-exclusive parallel numbered to 25, giving collectors a specific serial-numbered target in this edition. Its appeal is easy to understand within Obsidian: a new parallel to pursue in a product built around a distinctive black opti-chrome finish.

Black Color Blast and Contra operate at a different scale. Panini says Black Color Blast cards and Contra parallels are each found one per Hobby case. Those are separate case-level chases, not cards described as coming in every seven-card box. Their stated frequency also should not be confused with Caldera's serial numbering: one describes how often a category appears in a case, while the other identifies a numbered parallel.

Panini also highlights rare Color-Flood parallels. The listing supplies neither numbering nor a pull rate for them, so Caldera, Contra and Black Color Blast offer the more concrete starting points for comparing this year's chases. Panini's product details describe all four.

Clubs, price and release details

This is Obsidian Soccer's seventh consecutive season. Panini names Liverpool FC, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Real Madrid and FC Internazionale Milano among the clubs featured. That club selection gives team collectors a reason to follow the release, alongside the product's design and parallel lineup.

Panini's October 5, 2026 listing prices the Hobby box at $449.95. The listing does not give a release date or shipping start date. Its price and box configuration give collectors concrete details to consider, but do not establish when boxes begin shipping.
