2025–26 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Hockey Checklist: McDavid, Demidov and Parallels

The official checklist separates the main base set, Marquee Rookies and format-specific parallels. Start with the exact card, then choose the version.

Connor McDavid #63 and Ivan Demidov #232 are two different ways into 2025–26 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Hockey. McDavid is in the Base Set; Demidov appears under Base Set – Marquee Rookies. Upper Deck’s official checklist gives collectors the card number, player, team and named section needed to tell those targets apart. It also lists Neon Yellow Surge and Pink Magma as separate parallel families, so a player name and number alone do not finish the identification.

The base set gives player collections a clear starting point

The visible base run places Nashville’s Brady Skjei at #61, Washington’s John Carlson at #62 and Edmonton’s Connor McDavid at #63. Columbus’s Boone Jenner #64 and Vegas’s Brayden McNabb #65 follow. That short consecutive stretch is useful for a set builder, but it also gives a McDavid collector a precise base-card target rather than a search for any Platinum card with his name on it.

These are the standard Base Set entries in the checklist, distinct from the named rookie section and the parallel listings. The distinction matters most when collecting a player across versions: write down “Base Set #63” for McDavid, then keep any differently named Platinum card on its own line. A matching number on a parallel is part of its identity, but the parallel name is what tells you which version it is. Upper Deck checklist

Marquee Rookies is a separate numbered chase

Upper Deck labels #232 Ivan Demidov a Marquee Rookie for Montreal. He sits between Minnesota’s Zeev Buium #231 and Nashville’s Matthew Wood #233; Joakim Kemell #234 continues the Nashville pair. Earlier in the same named section, Calgary has a compact run: Rory Kerins #208, Zayne Parekh #209, Sam Morton #210 and Aydar Suniev #211. That gives a Flames collector four consecutive, specifically identified rookie targets rather than a loose list of names.

The checklist also lists Noah Ostlund #207 for Buffalo and Carl Lindbom #300 for Vegas in Marquee Rookies. Those numbers let a player collector search within the right section, while the Calgary and Nashville clusters offer short team projects. Upper Deck’s displayed Marquee Rookies rows carry 3:1 h, 3:1 e and 1:1 b; that section rate does not specify the chance of finding Demidov, Parekh or any other one rookie. Parallel names change the card you are chasing

The parallel list gives Cale Makar #1, Cole Sillinger #2 and Nico Hischier #3 entries in both Neon Yellow Surge and Pink Magma. A Makar search can therefore return two cards with the same number but different parallel names. The checklist also separates the Neon Yellow Surge Marquee Rookies entries: Lindbom #300 appears there as a rookie parallel as well as in the Marquee Rookies base section.

Pink Magma ParallelCale Makar #11:9 h; 1:9 e; 1:36 b

The Neon Yellow Surge rates above are explicitly marked Blaster, with a different line for the Marquee Rookies version. Pink Magma carries its own rates across the checklist’s h, e and b formats. These are parallel-family odds, not odds for the named example in the table, and they do not establish a print run. For a focused chase, pair the player and number with the complete parallel name before comparing cards. Upper Deck’s parallel checklist

The checklist establishes these cards and listed odds; actual pack availability is a separate question. For a precise want list, McDavid Base Set #63, Demidov Marquee Rookies #232 and each named parallel belong on distinct lines.
