2025–26 Upper Deck SP Authentic Hockey gives rookie autograph collectors a concrete starting point: Autograph Future Watch Rookies numbered to 999. Upper Deck's product page lists at least one of those cards per box, plus one additional autograph, on average.
For a singles collection, choose the version before comparing offers. Future Watch: choose the exact version
The official checklist lists Schaefer under Base Set - Autographed Future Watch as a rookie autograph numbered to 999. Sam Rinzel appears under Base Set - Future Watch as a rookie numbered to 999. Keep those section names attached to your searches when pursuing a signature.
Horizontal autograph numbering deserves a player-specific check. Ethen Frank's Horizontal - Autographed Future Watch is /599, while Schaefer's is /199. Check the player's entry before choosing a target.
For Schaefer, choose the inscribed /50 if “10/9/2025” is the detail you want, or the horizontal /199 if that format is your target. Keep the appeal of the card separate from what you are willing to pay.

Collaborations is a dual-subject insert set focused on teammates who frequently work together. Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl has listed odds of 1:5 Hobby, with the Blue Parallel at 1:24 Hobby and Green at 1:120 Hobby. Keep the color in your search.
Freshman Focus is an all-rookies insert set. Ivan Demidov's entry has odds of 1:3 Hobby, with Blue at 1:12 Hobby and Green at 1:60 Hobby. Outliers, described by Upper Deck as new, features 25 veteran stars in motion, with Blue and Green parallels. Macklin Celebrini's Outliers entry is listed at 1:5 Hobby.
For an inscription target, 4 Nations Faceoff Signatures lists Connor McDavid with Team Canada, an autograph designation and “4 Nations Champ.” Choose it for the player and that stated inscription.
Spectrum FX: plan the bounty chase separately
The Spectrum FX bounty program calls for completing a 91-card set. The first 50 completers receive a 100-card Gold Spectrum FX set, a nine-card Spectrum FX Bounty Award Set and a surprise bonus. Subsequent completers receive only the nine-card award set. Check the program's current terms before buying toward an award.
The rookie levels provide separate want-list targets. Carter Mazur is listed in Spectrum FX - Future Watch Level 1 at 1:20 Hobby, Michael Misa in Level 2 at 1:42 Hobby, and Schaefer in Level 3 at 1:160 Hobby. Decide whether selected players or the bounty project best fits your collection.
Keep the update labels
The official checklist lists Frank Nazar of the Chicago Blackhawks under 2024 Update - Authentic Moments Autographs, marked XRC and Auto. It also lists Alex DeBrincat of the Detroit Red Wings under 2024 Update - Chirography, marked Auto.
For a dual-player target, Wyatt Johnston/Jason Robertson appears under 2024 Update - Sign of the Times 2, with Dallas/Dallas, Stars/Stars and an Auto designation.
Preserve those exact section labels when recording or comparing a card. Put the update label beside the player and set name on your want list so your search stays focused on the entry you chose.
