Craniacs Series 4 gives the skull-headed world some equally strange pets. Cranimal Chaos introduces creatures and animal companions alongside their Craniacs counterparts, with new paintings by co-creator Joe Simko. The 100-design series adds R.L. Stine autographs and a ten-design Italian Brainrot collaboration, giving it more than a new batch of base characters. Ira Friedman Enterprises sets October 17, 2026 as the release date on both official box pages. Official Hobby details, official Blaster details

The packaging makes the larger Hobby format easy to distinguish from the smaller Blaster. Both use the same purple-and-orange Cranimal Chaos identity, but the exclusive foil callouts change. Purple Pulsar is the Hobby choice; Orange Crystal Retrovia is the Blaster choice.

Orange and purple Cranimal prints

Orange Cranimal Print and Purple Cranimal Print each cover 100 designs, with each group listed at 1:4 packs. Clear Crystal Retrovia and Pure Pulsar Futerra each have 25 designs at 1:14 packs. The exclusive Orange Crystal Retrovia group has 25 designs at 1:21 Blaster packs. Manufacturer’s Blaster insert details

Those treatments give the creatures several different finishes, while the Stickety Skullsters subset turns 20 designs into fluorescent die-cut stickers. The numbered Prism parallels offer another route through the artwork, separate from the orange and purple print patterns.

Seven autograph subjects and original sketches

The autograph selection names R.L. Stine, Joe Simko, Niclas Mortensen, Kit Wallis, Marc Ellerby, Enox Art and Pedro Andreo. Stine’s presence gives the set a direct connection to the writer behind Goosebumps and the Craniacs book collaboration; Simko’s signature connects the card to the artist whose paintings define the series. Official autograph selection

Original sketch cards come from a roster of at least 65 artists. The ten-design Italian Brainrot collaboration adds another visual strand, reinterpreted in Simko’s Craniacs style. The combination is the distinctive part of Cranimal Chaos: a new cast of animal companions, original painted art, sticker designs and named creator signatures, with the box format determining which exclusive foil family joins the mix.
