2026 Futera FX Cricket Series 1: Sobers Signatures, Warne Relics and Ten-Pack Boxes
Garfield Sobers, Viv Richards and Steve Smith share the collection with game and training memorabilia and numbered FX inserts.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Futera FX Cricket Series 1 gives cricket collectors a mixture of eras: Steve Smith joins Sir Viv Richards, Geoffrey Boycott, Barry Richards, Sir Garfield Sobers and Dennis Lillee in the advertised on-card autograph lineup. The accompanying memorabilia program includes game and training material, with the card backs identifying what is enclosed.
The first series belongs to Futera’s 2026 release program, with an early-March launch window. Its ten-pack format builds around numbered parallels and inserts, then adds a special card drawn from the autograph, memorabilia and low-numbered FX groups.
Ten packs and a separate special-card slot
A display box contains ten foil packs, each with up to five cards. The box configuration includes two foil-numbered parallels, one foil-numbered insert and an additional special card. That extra card can be an on-card autograph, a game or training memorabilia card, or a low-numbered special FX insert.
Futera gives on-card autographs an average rate of one in two hobby boxes. An autograph therefore has its own stated production-wide rate; the special-card slot does not turn every box into a signed-card box. Four display boxes make a minicase, and four minicases make a case.
Richards, Warne and Sobers in the previews
The official artwork places Viv Richards beside an action image, using a red-and-white background rather than a heavy border. The Shane Warne Triumph memorabilia preview pairs his portrait in yellow and green with a tall rectangular red swatch window. The window is a prominent part of the composition, leaving room for Warne’s face and the Triumph lettering.
The Garfield Sobers autograph preview takes a different route: black-and-white portraiture, pale gold accents and a broad signing area. Its inscription space gives the card a more personal presentation than the action-led Richards design. These are manufacturer previews, so the pictured autograph treatments illustrate the proposed cards rather than a photographed finished pull.
Signing details and numbered boxes
The autograph card backs state when and where the cricketer signed. Memorabilia backs provide details about the player’s material, making the distinction between game and training use a card-specific part of the collection.
The standard packaging is green. Futera also identifies three Red boxes, two Gold boxes and one Diamond box. Those counts describe the packaging variations, separately from the foil-numbered cards and 1/1 parallels inside the cricket collection.
Sobers’ portrait-and-signature approach and Warne’s oversized swatch window show the two main attractions clearly: a signed connection to a player, or a piece of cricket memorabilia presented as the card’s centerpiece. Smith’s place alongside Richards and Lillee gives Series 1 a current-to-legend span without making every card follow the same visual formula.
