2026 Leaf City of Champions: On-Card Signatures and a Place on the Card
City skylines, on-card signatures and autograph memorabilia put the place alongside the player.

Lenny Dykstra's Signs of a Champion preview gives New York a visible place in the design. A skyline rises behind his batting photograph, with the city name above the autograph panel. 2026 Leaf City of Champions uses that sense of place to connect its signatures and memorabilia cards across different sports.
The Leaf calendar identifies City of Champions as an October 2026 release. Boxes contain four premium cards, with ten boxes per case. The advertised autograph selection includes Emmitt Smith, Nolan Ryan, Larry Bird, Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O'Neal, Rob Gronkowski, Mariano Rivera and Magic Johnson.
The city is part of the composition
Dykstra's preview uses a cool turquoise sky and a dark skyline silhouette. His batting image extends into the center, while the blue signature sits on a lighter panel at the bottom. The New York label makes the location explicit, and the buildings provide a visual connection to it.
Leaf identifies Signs of a Champion as an on-card signature program, averaging seven to eight per case. With ten boxes in a case, that is a case-level average rather than an on-card autograph promised in every four-card box. It is also a specific autograph treatment to follow within the wider product.
Nolan Ryan's autograph memorabilia preview changes the balance. His pitching photograph occupies most of the card, with a separate gold-bordered memorabilia window on the right and a signature below. The photograph, material and ink each have a defined area instead of competing in a single small panel.
Championship combinations
Ring Team Signatures features championship-winning stars. Leaf also advertises team-themed multi-signature cards and city-themed autograph memorabilia. Those formats let the product group subjects around a shared sporting connection while keeping a single-player card such as Dykstra's readable on its own.
For a collector following a particular place, the most useful distinction is the exact city and combination on the card. The skyline treatment, named location and signing format provide different pieces of that connection. Dykstra's New York card and Ryan's autograph memorabilia preview demonstrate how the same release can give the location and the individual player different amounts of visual space.
City of Champions has its clearest identity when the city is visible in the design, as it is behind Dykstra. The on-card Signs of a Champion program supplies a defined autograph chase, while Ring Team and the memorabilia cards extend the idea into other formats. Its four-card box keeps the emphasis on those individual presentations.
