Dylan Seward's helmet and batting portrait fill the 2026 Leaf Metal Draft Edition Baseball preview in black and white. Jackson Flora's card uses a color pitching photograph inside a different frame. The two images establish the release's focus on young baseball subjects while showing that its autograph presentation extends beyond a single visual treatment.

The July 2026 release has nine autographs per hobby box, with twelve boxes per case. Mega boxes contain fourteen autographs, with eight boxes per case. Those are separate autograph-heavy configurations within the same Draft Edition product.

The photograph changes the card

Seward's monochrome image leaves the helmet and face as the strongest shapes above the signature panel. The silver-and-black surround suits the reduced palette, while his name remains large beneath the ink. It is a notably different composition from an action photograph set against a full field background.

Flora's preview puts the yellow uniform and pitching motion at the center. A pale signing panel sits below the photograph, and the lower name line identifies his position as a right-handed pitcher. The more conventional color action shot gives the release another clear approach to its prospect subjects.

Leaf advertises autographs on Metal technology and clear acetate, plus die-cut autograph designs. The surface and outline therefore matter when identifying a particular Draft Edition card, alongside the player and signature.

A draft class can be a historical connection

The quad-autograph program groups four legends drafted in the same year. That premise supplies a specific reason for a four-signer card: the shared draft class becomes the link between the subjects. It gives the release a historical direction alongside its younger players.

The advertised selection includes Roch Cholowsky, A.J. Gracia, Vahn Lackey, Dax Whitney, Drew Burress, Jackson Flora, Jacob Lombard and Justin LeBron, as well as Bo Jackson, Mike Schmidt and George Brett.
