Florian Wirtz Joins Panini: Prizm Cards, Germany Ink and Liverpool Shirts

The Germany and Liverpool midfielder joins Panini Authentic, with National Heroes ink, an airborne Manga design and signed shirts in the announcement gallery.

Florian Wirtz’s Panini announcement puts three very different cards next to one another: a photographic Prizm, an oversized Manga kicking pose and a National Heroes autograph with blue ink stretched across its lower panel. The Germany shirt ties them together. The designs give a Wirtz collection three distinct personalities before the signed jerseys enter the conversation.

Panini announced an exclusive, multi-year trading-card and memorabilia agreement on October 20, 2026. Wirtz joins Kylian Mbappé and Christian Pulisic among Panini Authentic’s athletes, with his initial memorabilia offered from the announcement date. Panini also says he will appear across its soccer card collections. The announcement supplies the partnership news and a gallery; it does not set a release date for a new Wirtz card product. Three Prizm designs, three ways to show Wirtz

The National Heroes autograph is the gallery’s most direct combination of player image and signature. Wirtz wears Germany’s white number 17 shirt, its black, red and gold chest pattern cutting across the foil background. His body occupies most of the card, while the broad pale signing area gives the blue ink enough contrast to remain readable against all that sparkle.

Notice how the signature panel overlaps the bottom of the photograph instead of shrinking Wirtz into a small portrait above it. The arm, shirt and autograph remain connected within one composition. The Germany crest sits high on the left, and the World Cup 2026 mark occupies the lower right: the national-team identity stays visible even when the autograph gets first attention.

Manga goes in a much more animated direction. Wirtz leans forward with an open hand reaching toward the viewer, while the sole of his boot fills the foreground. Heavy black outlines and orange foil shapes make the pose feel almost airborne. The low viewpoint exaggerates the boot and leg; this is a card built around movement and illustration rather than a photographic likeness or a signing panel.

The third pictured Prizm card uses a full-body photograph framed in silver and black, with circular foil highlights behind Wirtz. His white jersey and black shorts remain the clearest shapes in the middle. Beside Manga’s huge boot and the National Heroes signature, this version gives the running pose the most uninterrupted space. A Leverkusen breakthrough behind the Germany shirt

Wirtz brings a substantial club story to those Germany cards. He helped Bayer Leverkusen win its first Bundesliga championship in 2023–24, completing the league season unbeaten, and earned Bundesliga Player of the Season honors. Leverkusen also won that season’s German Cup. Those achievements give the player collection a major chapter before his move to Liverpool in 2025. His 2025 German Footballer of the Year award followed another productive Leverkusen season: ten league goals and 13 assists in 31 appearances. The DFB’s account records 191 votes in the award ballot. The World Cup cards show Wirtz in a different shirt, but that domestic record helps explain the interest in him as a creative midfielder with an established body of work, rather than simply a new face on a checklist. Liverpool number 7 and Germany number 17

Panini’s memorabilia photographs bring the club and country collections together. The white Liverpool WIRTZ 7 shirt places a light-colored signature across the black number, with red trim around the collar and sleeves. Its back gives the name, number and autograph a compact central arrangement, quite different from the smaller blue-ink National Heroes card.

The Germany WIRTZ 17 shirt has a wider number treatment, black shoulder panels and red-and-gold accents near the sleeves. Here too, the signature sits on the dark number. Both shirts emphasize the autograph against a dark surface, while the National Heroes card uses the reverse combination: blue ink against a light panel. These photographs show signed memorabilia; Panini’s announcement does not identify these shirts as match-worn.

The partnership connects those Liverpool and Germany memorabilia pieces with Wirtz’s place in Panini’s soccer cards. The gallery already offers a useful picture of that range: a National Heroes signature, a Manga interpretation, a photographic Prizm and two national-and-club shirt identities. Each gives the same midfielder a recognizably different treatment.
