An ornate Místico autograph sets the tone for MLW's first dedicated hobby release, with wrestling legends and match-night moments sharing the checklist.

Místico's Portrait Signatures card gives 2026 Panini Ring Royalty MLW a memorable entrance. His gold-and-white mask and elaborate shoulder pieces sit inside an equally ornate gold frame, with green brushwork behind him and a broad blue signature below. The frame could easily overwhelm a quieter subject. Místico arrives dressed for it.

Ring Royalty is MLW's first dedicated hobby trading-card release, announced on sale by the league on July 27, 2026. MLW wrestlers had already appeared in Panini Instant and Combat Anthology; this release gives the promotion its own collection. Killer Kross, Matt Riddle, Shotzi and Satoshi Kojima share space with Ric Flair, Kurt Angle and other wrestling legends.

Místico leads three different autograph families

The official checklist contains 41 Portrait Signatures, 27 Fresh Paint Signatures and ten Legacy Signatures before parallels. Místico is Portrait Signatures No. 4 and Fresh Paint Signatures No. 24. His Portrait preview makes the autograph a substantial part of the composition: the signature fills the pale lower panel, while the portrait and gold scrollwork occupy the upper half.

Legacy Signatures brings together Ric Flair, Raven, Kurt Angle, Arn Anderson, Atlantis, Hulk Hogan, Buff Bagwell, Ricky Morton, Jake Roberts and Taya Valkyrie. That is a distinct collecting route within this MLW release, with names that extend well beyond the promotion's current roster. Portrait Signatures also reaches past the wrestlers themselves to Court Bauer and Paul Walter Hauser, broadening the personalities represented in the box.

Numbered autograph parallels include Gold /10 and Masterpiece 1/1 across all three families. Ruby and Sapphire have their own details: Arn Anderson's Legacy Signatures Sapphire is /25, while the other nine Legacy Sapphire cards are /49. Místico has no Ruby entry in either of his autograph sets. Those are useful distinctions when matching a specific signature to the checklist.

Shoko, Flair and 91 base cards

Shoko Nakajima's base card uses a much looser arrangement than Místico's autograph. Her pink, purple and white gear cuts across pale turquoise washes and repeated crown-and-globe emblems. Her body extends over the horizontal design lines, giving the portrait room to move rather than enclosing it inside a frame.

There are 57 regular base cards, 14 Wrestling Icons and 20 MLW Highlights, making a 91-card main set. The numbering runs through No. 100 because Wrestling Icons skips nine numbers. Ric Flair is No. 58, Arn Anderson No. 59 and Kurt Angle No. 63; the gap between those last two is part of the checklist.

Flair's Icons preview changes the balance again. A white field of small emblems sits beside a large red-and-orange panel, with Flair crossing the divide in red trunks. The big “Nature Boy” nameplate and warm colors make this a bold portrait even without an autograph. The design suits a subject who was never likely to disappear into the background.

All three base groups have Ruby /199, Sapphire /99, Jade /25, Gold /10 and Masterpiece 1/1 parallels. That shared ladder lets a collector pursue the same color across the regular roster, the legends and the match highlights without treating them as unrelated subsets.

MLW Highlights puts the match back in the card

Mads Krule Krugger's Highlights preview turns sideways and fills its rough white border with an in-ring collision. Krugger, his airborne opponent, the ropes and the referee all remain visible. The photograph supplies the action, while the brush-edged frame and red background keep it recognizably part of Ring Royalty.

The Highlights checklist includes Jacob Fatu at Nos. 81 and 98, Krugger at Nos. 84 and 87, and Místico at Nos. 86, 89 and 92. Repeated wrestlers make sense here: the subject is a moment, not simply a roster portrait. This is the part of Ring Royalty with the strongest connection to following the promotion from one show to the next.

Blank Slate and Shotzi take opposite approaches

Último Guerrero's Blank Slate preview gives his blue-and-white gear a broad golden backdrop. The surrounding action fades into painterly texture, leaving his stance and expression dominant. It is a spacious design next to the ornate autograph frame and the busy base patterns. The five-card Blank Slate checklist also includes Hulk Hogan, Shoko Nakajima, Satoshi Kojima and Shotzi Blackheart.

Shotzi's Paint by Number card goes gloriously loud. Bright green hair and a horned helmet stand against red, black and gold numbered shapes; the background almost argues with her gear, and that is the fun of it. She is No. 3 in a five-card lineup with Matt Riddle, Blue Panther, Místico and Donovan Dijak. Between this and Guerrero's spacious portrait, Ring Royalty offers markedly different ways to make a wrestler the center of attention.

What the $80 hobby box delivers

Panini's hobby box costs $80, with one ten-card pack and two autographs plus six inserts or parallels per box, on average. Cases contain 16 boxes. It is a compact opening built around signatures and specialty cards, while the 91-card base checklist provides a larger collecting project beyond a single pack.

Our strongest reasons to explore Ring Royalty are Místico's beautifully matched portrait and frame, the show-specific Highlights photographs, and the contrast between Guerrero's Blank Slate and Shotzi's Paint by Number. Add the ten-name Legacy Signatures checklist, and MLW's first dedicated hobby release gives both weekly viewers and collectors of wrestling history several distinct cards worth chasing.
