2026 Freedom Fighters Series 2: The Caren Collection Extends Beyond 1776
Founding-era wood and printed fragments share the checklist with military uniforms, handwriting and twentieth-century figures.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Freedom Fighters Series 2 carries its American-history relic collection beyond the founding era. The Eric C. Caren Collection remains the center of the release, but this 250th Anniversary edition brings later military uniforms, handwriting and historical figures into the same program as Washington, Adams and Franklin. The expected release is November 27, 2026. Release timing
Six packs and a historical relic
Each box has six packs of four cards, with one relic hit per box. Relic packs can contain fewer cards, so 24 is the nominal pack total. Cases hold ten boxes. Randomly inserted cut autographs and 1/1 sketch cards appear in the manufacturer's plans alongside the relic program. Manufacturer sell sheet
GTS's product announcement describes an expanded 150-card checklist, four new insert sets and 100 additional relics. Its announced relic formats range from single windows through dual, triple and quad cards, with jumbo and 5 × 7 versions also included. That makes the shape of the historical fragment part of the card's appeal: a short piece of printed text and a broad wood swatch call for different windows. Product announcement
The founding-era previews
The sell sheet's first group puts portraits above gold-framed relic windows. Benjamin Franklin's preview contains a printed fragment; John Adams, George Washington and USS Constitution previews show wood. Beneath them, flag-framed cards include Benedict Arnold, an eighteenth-century cannon and a Revolutionary War powder horn. Thomas Jefferson's Monticello home receives a blue architectural treatment.
The Caren Collection identifies its Washington feature as wood from the podium used for his second inaugural address in 1793. That is the manufacturer's provenance description for the featured material. The promotional sheet pairs a photograph of the larger artifact with the proposed card, making that specific historical connection the centerpiece of the release.
Series 2 moves into later history
Rosa Parks and Ronald Reagan previews use handwriting windows, while Peyton C. March, General Mattis and Walton Walker previews show uniform material. John Adams, Paul Revere and George Washington also appear in a colorful, patterned Freedom Fighters frame. The contrast is immediately visible: some cards emphasize a historical portrait and a single piece of material; others give the anniversary branding much more of the card face.
The announced update subjects include uniforms from the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and the Gulf Wars, plus original handwriting and vintage stamps. Those additions widen the set's historical reach well past the 1776–2026 anniversary banner. The handwriting previews are especially distinctive because readable words can make two relic windows look quite different even when the surrounding design matches.
For a collection centered on the founding generation, the Franklin printed fragment and Washington podium feature are the natural starting points. For twentieth-century history, the Parks handwriting and military uniform previews show what Series 2 adds. These are manufacturer examples of the planned cards; the final checklist will establish the full subject list and any card-specific numbering.
