Mickey and Elsa sit in the Platinum tier, Genie gets the layered Chrome treatment, and Disney's familiar voices fill a wide-ranging autograph checklist.

Genie has never been shy about taking up a little space. His 2026 Topps Mint Disney Minted in Magic card gives him a sweeping pose, a bright blue-and-gold costume and a frame that seems to bend around the performance. It's an appealing introduction to a release that turns familiar Disney characters into distinctly different kinds of collectible cards.
Topps plans the hobby release for November 4, 2026, following its October preorder. The format pairs a ten-card pack with one encased card per box. Between the four base tiers, character-focused Chrome inserts and autographs from the people behind the performances, there's considerably more to unpack than the small box suggests.
Four tiers split the cast
The official checklist runs to 125 base cards: 50 Bronze, 25 Silver, 25 Gold and 25 Platinum. These are different character groups. Moving from Bronze to Platinum changes the subjects as well as the tier, so a character collector's starting point is the checklist placement of their favorite.
That creates some entertaining splits within a film. Frozen puts Anna in Bronze, Olaf in Silver and Elsa in Platinum. The Emperor's New Groove moves from Kuzco in Bronze to Kronk in Gold. Mickey and Minnie join Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto in Platinum, making the final 25 cards especially concentrated for collectors of that cast. Topps says Platinum is the rarest base tier, starting at /99.
Mr. Incredible's Red Foil preview shows how far the design can travel from a simple metallic border. Red rays push outward behind the blue frame, while his black glove and forward shoulder bring the character almost to its edge. The pictured 1/5 marking identifies this particular preview as a lower-numbered parallel; it isn't the numbering of every Platinum card.
Genie's card makes the layers work
Topps describes Minted in Magic as an encased Chrome insert with 50 subjects and four levels. Genie's preview has a strong sense of depth: the dark outline around the central opening separates him from the bright swirls and stars outside it. His raised arm and broad blue silhouette remain easy to read through all that ornament.
The gold spiral finish and 1/1 stamp belong to the illustrated Superfractor. They make an excellent showcase for the design, though this image doesn't establish the appearance or numbering of every Minted in Magic version. The checklist also gives this insert its own character selection, including Chernabog, Yen Sid and Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey from Fantasia. That is a particularly natural grouping for a series built around magical subjects.
Minted Posters takes a different approach, with ten film subjects ranging from Encanto and Elemental to Zootopia 2, Hoppers and Toy Story 5. Its appeal is the film artwork rather than a single posed character. Alongside the Chrome variations of the base set, the two inserts give Mint several visual directions without abandoning its character-and-film focus.
The autograph belongs to the performance
The Chrome Autograph checklist ties the signer to a role: Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Jodi Benson as Ariel and Chris Sanders as Stitch. It also reaches into Disney television and live action, with Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana and Nick Jonas as Nate Gray. Those connections make the autograph selection useful for fans whose Disney collection starts with a particular performance.
Jonas's preview uses a large lakeside portrait above a broad signing panel. The blue signature has room to breathe, and the gold frame links the card visually to Mint's ornamental finish. The pictured Superfractor is marked 1/1. It shows one treatment within the autograph program, rather than a promise about the encased card in each hobby box.
For an older connection to Disney's voices, the checklist includes a Clarence Nash Donald Duck cut signature. Topps identifies it as a 1/1. Donald Duck and Friends Comic Cuts adds comic-panel material, while Sketch Cards and Minted Sketch Cards bring individual artists into the release. Each offers a different relationship to the subject: a performer's signature, a piece of printed comics or an artist's drawing.
Mint's strongest idea is that its characters don't all have to arrive in the same form. Elsa's Platinum placement, Genie's expansive Chrome composition and a voice actor's autograph each provide a specific reason to follow a card. The November release brings those paths into one compact format, with the checklist doing as much work as the shine.
