2026 Wild Card Sweet: Heart Designs, Artist Proofs and Gold Be Mine Cards

2026 Wild Card Sweet gives football portraits a very different setting from a field or stadium. Heart shapes, ornate gold-colored frames and swirling decorative backgrounds define the release, with signed and unsigned versions across eight main checklist families.

Wild Card lists Sweet in February 2026. Its 50-name roster includes Barry Sanders, Aaron Rodgers, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Patrick Mahomes, CeeDee Lamb and Fernando Mendoza.

Artist Proof, Light and Dark

Rodgers’ official Artist Proof preview uses a large painted heart behind the quarterback, with blue and gold brush effects carrying the background. The nameplate and autograph area sit inside a much more formal ornamental frame.

Ahmad Hardy’s Base Dark preview puts his running pose in front of a brown-and-black swirl, dotted with smaller hearts. It is more restrained in color than the Rodgers proof, while keeping the same decorative emphasis.

Artist Proof cards are one-of-ones on Rainbow foil. Base Light and Base Dark each use 13 foil boards and eight colors, with every exact signed and unsigned card listed as a 1/1. The Light/Dark choice is therefore a design branch with its own parallel variations.

Sweet’s appeal is the combination of recognizable football portraits and unusually ornate artwork: Rodgers’ painted heart and Hardy’s dark ornamental setting give the same core idea two distinct moods.
