Wild Card Wild Chrome Fernando Mendoza autograph-design preview with a gold honeycomb background

2026 Wild Card Wild Chrome builds an entire football release around Fernando Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love, Makai Lemon and Ty Simpson. The distinguishing choices are surface and pattern: on-chrome and vinyl autograph versions, unsigned parallels and a separate True Color Match branch.

The manufacturer lists Wild Chrome among its February 2026 releases. Its autograph checklist identifies the signed cards as 1/1s across the different subsets and color treatments.

Mendoza’s honeycomb and Love’s blue vinyl

Mendoza’s official autograph-design preview sets his passing pose against a gold honeycomb pattern. A white signature panel sits above the nameplate. The contrast between the patterned upper field and the open signing area is the card’s strongest visual feature; the preview itself has a blank autograph window.

Love’s unsigned vinyl preview uses a blue field with a fine dotted texture, carrying the running pose almost to the lower nameplate. It shows how Wild Chrome changes the feel of a card through its surface treatment as well as its color. These two previews also make the distinction between an autograph layout and an unsigned card easy to see.

Chrome, vinyl and True Color Match

The signed branches are Auto Base, Auto Base Vinyl, Auto Base True Color Match and Auto Base True Color Match Vinyl. The manufacturer distinguishes on-chrome from on-vinyl signing and lists the True Color Match cards separately, using a CMWC prefix in their card codes.

The color selections include Red, Navy, Blue, Green, Purple, Gold, Orange, Gray, Lime, Pink, Rainbow and four Tie-Dye treatments. Each signed color entry is a one-of-one within its particular subset. Wild Chrome’s appeal comes from choosing the combination that best suits the player’s image, with a considerable amount of variation inside a four-name roster.

Unsigned cards have their own numbering

The unsigned chrome and vinyl series use different foil-board ladders. In the Mirror-foil Dots subset, unsigned Orange and Purple are /18, Green and Red /15, and Blue and Lime /12. The Rainbow-foil vinyl Dots group instead starts Orange and Purple at /12, with Green and Red /10. Rainbow and the Tie-Dye entries reach 1/1 in both of those examples.

Those exact combinations are part of the product’s identity: the player, pattern, foil, surface and color together describe the card. Wild Card’s full checklist provides the individual groups; its release index supplies the February timing.
