Lamine Yamal gets the full gallery treatment in 2025–26 Panini Pitch Kings Soccer. His Le Cinque Piu Belle card surrounds Barcelona's blue and red with an elaborate gold frame, a vivid painted background and a red curtain-like border. The player is still the center of attention, but the frame is doing considerably more work than a thin strip of foil.

That visual ambition runs through Panini's new La Liga release, which arrived on June 26, 2026. The set moves between decorative portraits, cut-paper graphics and spare black backgrounds, with all 20 clubs represented in its base checklist. The most useful way into Pitch Kings is through the individual designs—and the surprisingly different rookie lists behind them.

Yamal's frame and Etta Eyong's spotlight

Le Cinque Piu Belle is a five-card lineup: Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, Julián Álvarez, Pedri and Jude Bellingham. Yamal is No. 1. His Barcelona shirt stands against turquoise, purple and bright green, while the gold nameplate and curling frame make the card feel deliberately formal. It is an extravagant setting for a running photograph, and that contrast gives this insert its personality.

Blackout takes a quieter approach. Karl Etta Eyong's Levante UD preview leaves almost the entire background black, traced by a fine gold border. His red-and-blue kit, white boots and small rookie shield carry the composition. Where Yamal's card builds decoration around the player, Etta Eyong's strips the scene back to his movement.

The manufacturer checklist gives Blackout nine cards, including Robert Lewandowski, Vini Jr., Dean Huijsen, Nico Williams, Fermín López, Yamal, Federico Valverde and Joan García alongside Etta Eyong. Panini calls Blackout and Le Cinque Piu Belle ultra-rare. Neither checklist supplies a serial limit or insertion odds, so their appeal here rests on those exact lineups and very different designs.

Four rookie tiers, four different groups

Pitch Kings' Rookies I, II, III and IV are four five-card groups with different players. They are not simply four treatments of the same five names. That changes how a player collector approaches the set: the tier identifies the player's checklist location as well as the card design.

Marc Pubill appears in Rookies III, No. 2, wearing Atlético de Madrid's stripes. Panini's preview surrounds him with repeated outlined lettering, a turquoise center and red-and-gold edges. The Roman numeral sits beside his name at the bottom, giving you a straightforward identifier even in a busy composition.

Pubill shares Tier III with Adrián Liso, Carlos Álvarez, Víctor Muñoz and Orri Óskarsson. The other groups offer different club routes: Víctor Valdepeñas represents Real Madrid in Tier I; Toni Fernández is Barcelona's Tier II entry; and Tier IV includes Etta Eyong for Levante, Rodrigo Mendoza for Atlético and Jan Virgili for Mallorca. Those are separate selections, not a ladder on which every rookie has four cards.

A base set that gives every club five places

The 100-card base set assigns five cards to each of the 20 clubs. Barcelona opens it with Pedri, Yamal, Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Real Madrid follows with Thibaut Courtois, Vini Jr., Bellingham, Arda Güler and Mbappé. The equal allocation keeps the league-wide set broader than its headline inserts.

Mikel Jauregizar's Athletic Club preview shows how different the base treatment is from Yamal's gilded portrait. His red-and-white shirt sits over torn-paper edges, a large pale crown-and-ball motif and a nearly black field. Cyan lettering runs down the side and across the name. The full-body photograph remains easy to read despite all that layering.

The numbered base parallels range from Ruby /199 through two separate /99 colors, Burgundy and Pink. Amber is /75, Violet /49, Sapphire and Jade each /25, Gold /10, Obsidian /8 and Masterpiece 1/1. Those are distinct parallel names even when they share a serial limit; a /25 description alone does not identify Sapphire versus Jade.

Mbappé and the autograph portraits

Legacy Portrait Signatures puts an ornate silver-colored frame around Mbappé's Real Madrid portrait, with a blue autograph area across the lower image. The frame and dark inner border give the photograph a more composed presentation than the torn-paper base cards. It is a strong fit for collectors who want the signature to sit within a portrait rather than dominate an otherwise empty card.

Mbappé is No. 9 in a 28-card Legacy Portrait Signatures checklist that also includes Zinedine Zidane, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldo—the latter under FC Barcelona. Mbappé's listed numbered versions are Ruby /7, Sapphire /5, Gold /3 and Masterpiece 1/1. Those limits belong to his card; the autograph checklist varies by player. Brush Strokes and Fresh Paint add two more autograph families to the product.

Hobby and blaster take different routes

The Hobby International box contains one ten-card pack. Its average mix is one autograph, two base parallels, two inserts or insert parallels, two Rookies I cards, one card from Rookies II/III/IV and two base cards. Panini's price is $79.95. The autograph and three rookie slots give that small pack a fairly concentrated shape.

The International Blaster spreads 36 cards across six packs. Its averages are one base parallel, three inserts or insert parallels, one Rookies I and one Rookies II/III/IV. Autographs are possible, but are not part of that stated average box mix. For this format, Panini specifically highlights Jade /25 and Obsidian /8 parallels.

Tajon Buchanan's Maestros No. 3 illustrates another reason to explore the inserts. His bright Villarreal yellow is surrounded by angled black shapes, colored rectangles and irregular lettering. The 12-player Maestros checklist reaches beyond Barcelona and Madrid to players such as Takefusa Kubo, Aimar Oroz and Luis Milla. Its graphic, poster-like look gives those club subjects a distinctly different setting from the portrait frames.

Yamal's gold frame is the showpiece, but Pitch Kings earns a closer look through the contrast around it: Etta Eyong against black, Pubill inside oversized lettering and Buchanan among collaged shapes. Add five base cards per club and genuinely different rookie groups, and this debut offers several ways to collect La Liga without asking every player to fit the same visual mold.
