2025–26 Select Serie A: Zidane, Platini and Three Ways to Chase Your Club
Select Pairings brings club history together on one card. Terrace, Mezzanine and Field Level give the rest of Serie A three distinct looks.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Zinedine Zidane above, Michel Platini below, both wearing Juventus stripes: Select Pairings No. 9 gives 2025–26 Panini Select Serie A a superb club-history centerpiece. The horizontal design places the portraits on the right and gives each autograph its own broad pale panel on the left. Gold edging and dark marbled bands tie the two halves together without cramping either player.
Even the shirts tell part of the story. Zidane’s Sony-sponsored kit and Platini’s Ariston shirt place the photographs in visibly different Juventus eras. That is what makes this pairing satisfying: two players connected by the club, presented as two distinct chapters rather than squeezed into a generic dual-card layout.
The April 29, 2026 release, dated by Trading Card Database, covers all 20 clubs from the 2025–26 Serie A season. Alongside the autographs, it offers a 250-card base set, three visual tiers and four scarce insert families. The images here are Panini’s exact product previews; checklist numbers below follow its complete manufacturer checklist.
Ten pairings with a reason to share a card
The ten-card Select Pairings lineup is built around club connections. Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti share Roma’s No. 1. Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci occupy Juventus’ No. 2. Christian Pulisic and Luka Modric pair up for Milan on No. 4, while Ronaldo and Ivan Zamorano close the set for Inter on No. 10.
Those combinations offer different kinds of appeal. De Rossi and Totti make an immediately coherent Roma card; Chiellini and Bonucci give the Juventus collector a defensive partnership; Platini and Zidane connect generations. Pulisic and Modric put two prominent names from Milan’s 2025–26 lineup together. The checklist does more than match famous names at random.
The Platini/Zidane Pairings card has Orange /25, Tie-Dye /10, Gold /5, Green /3 and Black 1/1 versions. The numbering varies by pairing: Chiellini/Bonucci Gold is /7, while Ronaldo/Zamorano Gold is /3. Base-set Gold cards elsewhere in this product are /10. The player combination and the card family both matter when comparing these parallels; the regular Pairings checklist does not give a serial limit.
Terrace gives Esposito the full frame

Terrace runs from 1–100, with Pio Esposito at No. 7. His preview carries the RC badge in the upper-right corner and uses Inter’s blue and black as the main color accents. Curving silver-white rails surround the photograph, while the Select logo sits above his head and the Serie A crest anchors the lower center.
The design leaves Esposito’s running pose large and easy to read. His blue shirt stripes continue the color of the surrounding frame, which makes this a particularly natural club-color combination. Terrace is the most elaborate of the three illustrated frames here, but the player remains the center of it.
The base tiers do not repeat an identical roster three times. Esposito also has Field Level No. 221, while his Select Future insert is No. 15 and his Stained Glass card is No. 3. An Esposito collection can therefore move between different photography layouts and insert designs, rather than following only the color changes on Terrace No. 7.
Mezzanine makes room for McTominay in motion

Mezzanine covers 101–200. Scott McTominay’s Silver No. 102 shows him moving toward the ball, with Napoli blue carried into the frame. The rounded opening is broader through the middle than Terrace’s rails, and the ball breaks across the lower-left border. That little interruption gives the action photograph more energy.
The Silver preview also shows why a relatively restrained parallel can work so well in Select: the reflective colors run around the frame while the shirt and face stay readable. For Napoli collectors, McTominay also appears at Field Level No. 223. Kevin De Bruyne occupies Terrace No. 4, so the club’s prominent midfielders are distributed across the tiers.
Panini adds Panini Logo and Pandora to this edition’s base parallels. Panini Logo is numbered to 61 across Terrace, Mezzanine and Field Level. The familiar numbered choices include Tie-Dye /25, Gold /10, Green /5 and Black 1/1. Those limits apply to the specific parallel of a specific card, not to all cards featuring that player.
Field Level lets Pulisic use the width

Field Level runs from 201–250 and turns the design horizontally. Pulisic’s Black No. 204 is an excellent demonstration: the wider photograph gives his movement space, the black outer frame echoes Milan’s stripes, and red curves pick up the shirt’s other main color. Gold outlines hold the composition together. It feels deliberately suited to the kit.
That exact Black parallel is a 1/1. Pulisic also has a Mezzanine card at No. 151, so the horizontal Field Level is a separate base card, not simply a rotated version with a different color border.
The 50-card Field Level roster mixes current players with club greats. It includes Platini 238, Ibrahimovic 244, Zidane 246 and Paolo Maldini 249, alongside Esposito, McTominay, Pulisic and Modric. The shorter checklist gives this tier a concentrated selection; its numbering does not, by itself, establish an individual card’s print run.
Moise Kean brings the color to Stained Glass

Kean’s Stained Glass No. 10 swaps Select’s metallic frame for thick black lines and luminous colored shapes. The white outline around his body separates Fiorentina purple from the yellow, red and blue behind it. The result has the impact of a poster, with the player’s forward movement keeping the decorative background from taking over.
Stained Glass has 30 cards. Artistic Impressions and Visionary have 25 each, while Team Badges covers 20 clubs. Panini describes the Hobby case average as one card from each of those four insert families. That is a case average, not one of each in every box, and it does not establish a numbered print run.
The club assignments can change with the photograph and theme. Ibrahimovic represents Inter in Stained Glass, Juventus in Artistic Impressions and Milan in Visionary. For a collector following one club—or one player’s career—that is a much more interesting distinction than treating the three inserts as interchangeable scarce cards.
The autograph menu and the Hobby box
Panini introduces Select Few Signatures, Select Stars Signatures and Select Pairings for this edition. The final regular Select Few checklist includes Zidane at No. 21 and Paolo Maldini at No. 24. Select Stars includes Ibrahimovic as an Inter player at No. 40. Those club-specific appearances give the autograph section the same historical range as the unsigned inserts.
De Bruyne’s autograph chase is especially specific: the final checklist places him on Pitchside Signatures Black No. 3, a 1/1, for Napoli. Modric appears with Pulisic in Select Pairings. Their presence in the product is worth celebrating on those actual terms, with the correct card and parallel attached to each name.
A Hobby box has 12 five-card packs. Panini’s averages are three autographs and/or memorabilia cards, seven inserts or parallels, five numbered base parallels and nine other base parallels. The three-hit total combines signatures and memorabilia; it is not a three-autograph guarantee.
For this edition, the strongest collecting thread runs from the club connection to the design: Platini and Zidane sharing Juventus history, Esposito framed in Inter blue, Pulisic’s Milan colors surrounding a horizontal action photograph, and Kean’s purple kit standing out against Stained Glass. Select gives each of those cards a different job—and enough visual identity to make the choice more interesting than simply chasing the shortest serial number.
