2025–26 Topps Stadium Club Basketball: Luka’s Jumper, Castle’s Ink and Rookie Polaroids
A soaring Castle autograph and a bright Luka Pure Focus lead the first six previews, with Flagg and four fellow rookies announced for the new Polaroid autograph series.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Luka Dončić has the whole card to get his shot off. On the Pure Focus preview for 2025–26 Topps Stadium Club Basketball, his yellow Lakers uniform cuts through bands of blue, pink and gold dots. The ball sits near the top edge, his shoes reach toward the nameplate, and the oversized insert lettering runs behind him. The pose stays readable through all that color. It is a basketball card with a little poster energy.
Preorders open October 27. Topps has announced Beam Team and Pure Focus as SSP inserts, plus new Rookie Polaroid autographs featuring Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Cedric Coward, Kon Knueppel and Ace Bailey. The first six promotional images give us a closer look at the release’s range: action photography, expressive portraits, bold inserts and two very different autograph layouts.
Pure Focus gives Luka room to rise
The appeal of Luka’s card begins with the scale of the photograph. His entire shooting motion fits inside the vertical design, from the bend of his legs to the ball above his head. The yellow jersey is the strongest block of color; the patterned background gives the card movement without swallowing the player. Even the large PURE FOCUS lettering yields to his silhouette.
For a Dončić collector, that makes this preview more interesting than a head-and-shoulders crop over a decorative pattern. It preserves his shooting form and makes the Lakers uniform central to the composition. The background is busy, but the subject is immediate. Topps’ Pure Focus preview
Castle and Maxey: two ways to make room for ink
Stephon Castle’s autograph variation is the strongest photograph-and-signature combination in this first group. His arms rise above his head, the white Spurs uniform stands out against a nearly black background, and the blue autograph crosses the pale lower portion of the card. The low camera angle makes the jump feel tall. There is very little competing scenery, so your eye follows Castle upward before dropping back to the ink.
Maxey’s Lone Star Signatures preview takes another route. His smiling portrait fills the upper portion, surrounded by black stars and a sharp red diagonal. A broad silver-colored panel gives the blue signature its own space below. The design is more graphic than Castle’s, but the red trim belongs with the Sixers uniform, and Maxey’s expression keeps the card from feeling stiff.
The pictured Black versions are numbered 05/10 for Castle and 02/10 for Maxey. Castle’s airborne photograph makes his card the more dramatic of the pair; Maxey’s has the warmer personality. Both give the autograph enough separation to remain a focal point. Castle preview, Maxey preview
Edwards supplies the grin; Shai gets the emergency glass
Anthony Edwards looks delighted to be here. The photograph catches him laughing, towel in hand, inside an ornate gold frame against deep blue. His head overlaps the frame’s upper edge, loosening up what could otherwise be a formal portrait. The gold nameplate gives the composition a museum-wall joke, but Edwards’ expression does the real work. The preview is numbered 005/150. Edwards preview
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets a much louder setting: red emergency signage, yellow-and-black hazard stripes and illustrated broken glass. The In Case of Emergency design surrounds a relaxed, smiling photograph, which makes the exaggerated packaging funnier. His white Oklahoma City uniform stays clear against the gray center, while BREAK GLASS lettering runs across the lower portion. It is the most theatrical of these six previews, with a design you can recognize before reading the player’s name. Gilgeous-Alexander preview
Flagg’s Rookie Takeover and the Polaroids to come
Flagg’s Rookie Takeover preview centers his Dallas portrait inside overlapping gold shapes, with a small RC medallion above the enormous insert title. Blue uniform, gold frame and a dark lower panel give it a more formal presentation than Luka’s Pure Focus. The pictured card carries a Stadium Club Chrome logo and appears among Topps’ previews for this release. Flagg preview
The separate Rookie Polaroid autograph announcement is especially promising for a photography-led set. An instant-film treatment gives the rookie signatures a specific visual idea beyond another colored border. Topps names Flagg, Harper, Coward, Knueppel and Bailey for that series; its exact layouts are still to come. Flagg’s Rookie Takeover image above shows a different card. Rookie Polaroid announcement
What to watch at the October 27 preorder
Topps has yet to announce the preorder’s start time, price, box configuration, physical release date, full checklist or pack odds on the product page. Beam Team and Pure Focus carry the manufacturer’s SSP designation, without a published numerical pull rate there. Those details will make it possible to compare the box formats and understand how the announced inserts fit into an opening.
For now, Castle’s autograph variation and Luka’s Pure Focus are the two previews I would lead with. Castle uses a dark background and an upward camera angle to make the photograph feel imposing; Luka uses full-body movement and bright color to fill the card. Edwards’ laughing portrait adds a third kind of appeal. That variety gives Stadium Club Basketball a compelling first showing before the Rookie Polaroid designs even arrive.
