2025 Leaf Optichrome Baseball: Two Generations of DuoChrome Autographs

Travis Bazzana and Jace LaViolette share one DuoChrome preview. Rollie Fingers and Trevor Hoffman share another. The paired autographs give 2025 Leaf Optichrome Baseball an immediate point of comparison: two younger hitters on one card, and two celebrated relief pitchers on another.

Leaf's March 2026 release is the debut of Optichrome Baseball. Hobby boxes contain six autographs and two base cards, with twelve boxes per case. Jumbo boxes contain twelve autographs and three base cards, with eight boxes per case.

DuoChrome gives each signer a place

The Bazzana–LaViolette card separates its two photographs and signing areas within one horizontal composition. The dark-and-gold surround ties the panels together, while the pale autograph areas keep the ink from competing with the portraits. The pairing becomes the card's central identity.

Fingers and Hoffman bring a different baseball connection to that format. Their shared role as relief pitchers makes the pairing easy to understand before considering any parallel treatment. The two recognizable portraits and separate signatures let each player retain a clear presence on the card.

Glow and memorabilia broaden the debut

Leaf advertises Glow Base and Glow Autograph versions as particularly scarce parts of the product. These are named variations within the release, adding a different presentation to a portfolio built around its Metal technology.

Memorabilia cards are also part of the Optichrome Baseball debut. Leaf's advertised game-used selection includes Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Willie Mays. That historical material gives the product another route into older baseball subjects alongside its signatures.
