Match Attax 2026/27 Countdown Calendar: Football in a Snow Globe

Vini Jr. is mid-roar inside a snow globe, with holly, pine cones and snow wrapped around his Real Madrid shirt. The 2026/27 Match Attax UEFA Club Competitions Countdown Calendar makes its festive cards the main attraction: ten exclusive die-cuts join the regular collection and its foil chases across 24 windows. Available in the UK since October 14, it costs £26.99, with 96 cards advertised on the package. Topps UK product Official packaging

Ten cards give the calendar its own identity

The Festive Edition design turns each player portrait into a snow-globe ornament. Vini’s FE 6 preview puts his celebration against an icy blue background, above a dark-blue pedestal carrying his name and club badge. The rounded globe and projecting base give the die-cut a silhouette that is immediately different from the rectangular Match Attax cards beside it. Official Vini Jr. preview

Anthony Gordon’s FE 10 preview shows the quieter version of that composition: a posed portrait, one hand raised, with the same branches and snow surrounding the globe. The blue pedestal keeps the player’s name separate from the photograph, while the red Festive Edition banner ties the card back to the calendar’s red-and-green packaging. Across these two examples, the appeal is the shaped card and seasonal presentation—not just another border color. Official Gordon preview

Topps identifies the Festive Edition cards as calendar exclusives. That gives this format a specific place in the wider 2026/27 collection, whose other special editions are distributed through products such as Booster Tins and Mega Tins. The calendar’s ten festive cards are the reason to choose this particular package when those snow-globe designs are what you want to collect. Calendar exclusives

Infinity brings a different kind of shine

The calendar also guarantees one Infinity card. Topps’ examples include Hugo Ekitike, number 5, and Bruno Fernandes, number 9. Both use a dark purple-and-black field crossed by bright curved lines, with the Infinity emblem spread across the lower part of the photograph. After the snowy Festive Edition cards, these feel much closer to a foil-heavy Match Attax chase. Calendar contents

Ekitike’s red Liverpool shirt fills most of his card, while Fernandes’ portrait sits above a large Infinity symbol. Their game ratings remain easy to read at the bottom: 37 defence and 95 attack for Ekitike, 66 defence and 97 attack for Fernandes. Both previews carry the Super-Rare label and two stars, making the rarity information part of the card’s visible layout. Ekitike preview Fernandes preview

A base parallel completes the featured contents

The guaranteed base parallel adds another design treatment. Max Dowman’s number 19 preview has a turquoise textured border, a one-star Rare label and a large Attax Debutant banner across his Arsenal shirt. Luka Modrić’s number 432 uses a yellow border around his Milan portrait, with a two-star Super-Rare designation. The border color, star symbols and written rarity make the two examples easy to distinguish. Dowman preview Modrić preview

Topps’ product text and package preview differ on which rarity tiers are eligible for the guaranteed base parallel. The 96-card total includes the ten festive exclusives, Infinity card and parallel; these are not extra cards added above that count. Those ten shaped Festive Edition cards give the calendar its clearest distinction, with Infinity and the base parallel supplying contrasting finishes across the month’s openings.
