Fudd and Miles are natural starting points: they went first and second in the 2026 WNBA draft, with Fudd joining former UConn teammate Bueckers in Dallas. For a player collector, the attraction is straightforward: Downtown's illustrated treatment, a favorite player and a sharply limited Gold edition in one card. Hammy's take: choose the collection you want to build

For rookie collectors, start with the 15-card Rated Rookie run. It is an understandable target with enough team and college connections to make the hunt personal. A Fudd-and-Bueckers Dallas collection or the five UCLA first-rounders has a story even before you add a numbered parallel.

For Downtown collectors, the five rookie cards are the first names on our watchlist. They bring this draft class into the insert, while Clark, Wilson, Bueckers and Bird give returning player collectors their own reasons to follow it. The Gold version is particularly appealing as a centerpiece for someone already collecting one of those players.

For box buyers, the appeal is the full Donruss opening: rookies, inserts and the autograph-or-memorabilia mix, with Downtown as the big possibility. If one exact Gold Downtown is the whole goal, following that single card lets you compare actual copies and prices as they surface.
