2026 Leaf Anime Nation OVA: SHION’s Illustrated Sports and Celebrity Lineup

Lionel Messi, Cameron Boozer and Barry Sanders become illustrated characters in 2026 Leaf Anime Nation OVA. Artist SHION supplies the artwork, giving the release a defined creative identity across athletes and entertainers. The official promotional collage makes that transformation immediately visible: these are drawn interpretations of recognizable subjects rather than photographic portrait cards.

Leaf introduced the program in its March 2026 lineup. OVA stands for original video animation, and Leaf applies that name to its print-to-order art-card series.

Twelve subjects with different collecting connections

The official checklist runs from OVA-1 Lionel Messi through OVA-12 Cristiano Ronaldo. Between them are Barry Sanders, Cameron Boozer, Malachi Toney, Nicolas Cage, Nikola Jokić, Mariano Rivera, Jose Canseco, Stephen Curry, Johnny Depp and Anna Leigh Waters.

That gives a Messi or Ronaldo collection an illustrated entry point, while Rivera and Canseco carry the same artistic program into baseball. Cage and Depp extend SHION's treatment to film personalities. The artist supplies the connection across subjects who otherwise belong to very different collections.

Print-to-order cards with parallel substitutions

Leaf describes one-week sales windows, followed by shipment two to three weeks after a sale ends. Red parallels numbered to ten and Gold one-of-ones randomly replace base cards. That is the stated structure of the program, rather than a claim that every subject is currently available to order.

The checklist also includes an Anna Leigh Waters OVA Auto, with Red /10 and Gold 1/1 entries. That signed issue gives Waters an additional collecting route within the same illustrated series.
