George Brett signed 1950-style preview from 2026 Leaf Metal Baseball.

The yellow nameplate beneath George Brett's autograph is a lovely starting point for 2026 Leaf Metal Baseball. Leaf's 1950-style preview gives the signature a generous pale panel and the player a simple portrait above it. The same basic visual language reappears on Roch Cholowsky's preview, connecting a younger baseball subject with the release's historical side.

The April 2026 product has four autographs and four base cards per Hobby box, with ten boxes per case. Jumbo boxes have eight autographs and eight base cards, with eight boxes per case. Both configuration panels also advertise an on-card autograph.

A vintage frame for different generations

Brett's portrait, autograph and block-letter nameplate remain easy to pick out. The design lets the player's face and ink share the card without crowding either. Its yellow lower panel supplies a strong contrast with the cooler blue and metallic areas above.

Cholowsky's blue uniform and gold-toned background give his 1950-style card a different balance of color. Set beside Brett, the shared design becomes a useful collecting connection of its own. The comparison is about the frame and subjects, rather than a claim that the two cards occupy the same career stage.

Pitchers and draft stories have their own themes

Armed and Dangerous pairs younger pitchers with legendary arms across three background variations. Draft Dreams highlights the previous year's drafted players, while Explode Onto the Scene gives emerging players another dedicated theme. Those subsets distinguish the release from a checklist consisting only of repeated portrait autographs.

Leaf advertises three to four signatures per case from a group including Eli Willits, Jacob Lombard, Jesús Made, Justin LeBron, Kevin McGonigle, Konnor Griffin, Nick Kurtz, Roch Cholowsky and Trey Yesavage. It is a case-level group allocation alongside the individual Hobby and Jumbo configurations.
