Justin LeBron's batting photograph sits beneath a purple name band and a small helmet graphic. Roch Cholowsky's preview changes the uniform, background and surrounding color while keeping the player large in the frame. 2026 Pro Set Metal Baseball puts those younger subjects into a release organized around familiar Pro Set design references.

Leaf's May 2026 release contains five autographs and five base cards per hobby box, with ten boxes per case. Jumbo boxes have eight autographs and ten base cards, plus their exclusive red, white and blue card program, with eight boxes per case.

The old design names are specific

Leaf brings back the 1989 and 1990 Pro Set designs, including Mini versions of both. Those named layouts are distinct collecting groups within the release. Their return on metal provides an identifiable retro direction alongside the newer baseball subjects.

The LeBron and Cholowsky previews keep the name and sport information in narrow upper bands, leaving most of the card for the photograph. The small helmet icon and Pro Set mark reinforce the design family's sporting identity without crowding the batting pose.

The two images also demonstrate why the player photograph matters within a retro release. LeBron's red helmet and Cholowsky's purple uniform give the cards immediately different visual centers, even before the surrounding treatments are compared.

Jumbo has its own color treatment

Red, White and Blue 1989 and 1990 Pro Set cards are exclusive to Jumbo cases. The Jumbo specification lists two red, white and blue base or autograph cards per box. Collectors following that particular treatment therefore have a defined format to identify alongside the eight-autograph configuration.

The advertised selection includes Eli Willits, Jesús Made, Justin LeBron, Kevin McGonigle, Konnor Griffin, Leo De Vries, Nick Kurtz, Roch Cholowsky, Travis Bazzana, Trey Yesavage and Jackson Flora. Die-cut designs add another outline to the returning Pro Set layouts.
