2026 Prizm Monopoly FIFA: Messi, Mia Hamm and Game Night
Messi and Mbappé meet Mia Hamm and Pelé in a soccer collection built for both packs and tabletop competition.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Mia Hamm make a pretty good invitation to game night. In 2026 Panini Prizm Monopoly FIFA World Cup Soccer, the cards carry player ratings that can join the draft pool for a companion board game. Opening packs can therefore change both a collection and the next matchup across the table.
The collecting choices depend on the box. Panini's blaster has Free Parking parallels and Black Money Blast among its attractions; the board game includes Gold Cracked Ice cards and a different mix of chases. Those format differences are central to this release, which Panini included in its 2026 World Cup product rollout.
Messi's frame and Hamm's spotlight
The Hasbro packaging gives Messi and Mbappé angular black-and-silver frames, with their countries across the top and the red Monopoly logo beneath the photograph. Messi's Argentina stripes stand clearly against the gold surround. Mbappé's white France shirt gets a darker, busier background, making the two previews feel different even within the same basic layout.
Hamm's card has another shape altogether: a circular backdrop with radiating lines, a larger sweep of gold and a white USA jersey in motion. The ring draws the eye toward her upper body, while Messi's frame holds the whole photograph inside a rectangular window. Hamm's design earns its place beside the men's cards through a distinct composition of its own.

A roster that crosses generations
Checklist Insider's published checklist lists 100 numbered cards. Messi opens at No. 1, Diego Maradona is No. 3, Pelé No. 16 and Lamine Yamal No. 41. The final fifteen, Nos. 86–100, feature women's soccer players, including Hamm at No. 91, Trinity Rodman at No. 94, Marta at No. 96 and Aitana Bonmatí at No. 99.
That mix gives a player collection several natural directions. An Argentina run can connect Messi with Maradona; a USA selection can move from Hamm to Rodman. The presence of those earlier generations is part of the attraction: this is a World Cup-themed collection with room for remembered careers alongside contemporary players.
Blaster or board game: what comes inside
Panini's $34.95 blaster contains six four-card packs, or 24 cards. Its exclusive Free Parking parallel is joined by randomly inserted parallels, ultra-rare Black Money Blast and exclusive Millionaire White inserts. The illustrated box names those same chases. Panini does not give numerical insertion odds on the product page.
The board game includes 16 trading cards: an eight-card Starter Pack and two four-card Prizm packs. Its contents promise six Gold Cracked Ice cards, with exclusive Hat Trick cards and ultra-rare White Money Blast also advertised. GameStop's product details identify this as Hasbro game G2633, matching the packaging shown here.
Hasbro's card preview shows Paolo Maldini on a White Money Blast design, his blue Italy kit crossing a multicolored cloud of small Monopoly symbols. The broad white space gives the busy pattern room to breathe. It's an appealing use of the game imagery: the little symbols form the color behind the footballer instead of competing with his face.

The choice is fairly clear. For a family that wants the tabletop game, its packs and Gold Cracked Ice cards come with the board and pieces. For an existing game owner who wants more players to draft, the blaster adds a larger batch of cards. A collector pursuing Free Parking specifically has a reason to seek Panini's marked blaster.
The cards have a job on the board
The game uses historic World Cup matches as spaces to control. Players reveal the statistics on their cards and roll special attack or defense dice when competing against an opponent. The supplied board replaces familiar street names with match settings, including the 1986 Argentina–England quarter-final, and uses a bench where classic Monopoly has its jail corner.

That is the part of Prizm Monopoly that makes us smile. A Messi card still has the national colors and recognizable Prizm framing a collector expects, but its reverse can settle a little argument across the table. Add Hamm, Maradona and Pelé to the conversation, and there is plenty to talk about before anyone rolls a die.
