Bobby Witt Jr. in a navy USA jersey, bat lifted and eyes turned toward the field, makes a terrific subject for Color Blast. The red-and-blue clouds spread across a horizontal white card, leaving his full batting stance easy to read. The small “18U National Team” label gives the photograph its particular meaning: this is a USA Baseball chapter in Witt's career, with the uniform doing as much storytelling as the name.

That connection runs through 2026 Panini Prizm USA Stars & Stripes Baseball, the first Stars & Stripes release under the Prizm brand. Paul Skenes appears among the autograph chases, while Grady Emerson and Roch Cholowsky feature in the same ten-card Color Blast lineup as Witt. The national-team setting gives those different stages of a baseball career a shared visual language.

Ten Color Blasts, three very different poses

Witt is Color Blast No. 4. The complete Panini checklist also includes Emerson, Cholowsky, Drew Burress, Konnor Griffin, Skenes, Jacob Lombard, Ethan Holliday, AJ Gracia and Liam Peterson. Panini calls Color Blast ultra-rare, without publishing numerical insertion odds in its Hobby description.

Cholowsky's No. 2 uses a throwing pose that nearly spans the width of the card. His throwing arm reaches toward the left edge, one leg stretches toward the right, and a narrow cloud of color follows that horizontal motion. The large white area above his shoulders keeps the composition airy. It's an especially good use of the landscape format: the action determines the layout.

Emerson's No. 1 puts a gray uniform, mirrored sunglasses and a long stride against turquoise, pink and red. The color sweeps behind his torso while his legs remain clear against the white ground. Compared with Witt's compact batting stance and Cholowsky's broad throwing silhouette, Emerson gives the design a strong diagonal. These three previews show how much the selected photograph contributes to Color Blast's appeal.

The 200-card base set reaches deep into USA Baseball

The base checklist includes the 12U, 15U and 18U national teams, the 13U/14U and 16U/17U development programs, and collegiate team and training-camp selections. The collegiate team supplies 34 cards and its training camp another 30. That scope makes the set particularly interesting for collectors who follow USA Baseball's development pathway as well as its best-known alumni.

Drew Burress's preview makes the base design easy to recognize: a thick red, white and navy frame, a large USA Baseball badge and an American-flag motif beneath the player. His bat and helmet break across the upper border, giving an otherwise heavily framed card some movement. The dark photograph keeps his navy jersey distinct from the warm patterned surround.

Some players have two base checklist entries. Burress is Nos. 39 and 168, Peterson 38 and 143, and Ace Reese 53 and 167; Cholowsky appears at 81 and 140. That matters when following a particular player through the parallels: the card number identifies which base entry a parallel belongs to. A player-name search alone can mix the two.

Cherry Blossom and Gold change the mood

Peterson's Cherry Blossom surrounds a forceful pitching photograph with pale pink flowers and a shimmering light background. The contrast works: the soft outer pattern leaves the dark jersey, black glove and raised baseball sharply defined. Cherry Blossom base parallels are numbered to 20, making this a specific numbered treatment within the larger Prizm lineup.

Reese's Gold preview is more direct. The broad gold outer field surrounds a white uniform and dark batting helmet, with the same flag-and-frame structure retained underneath. Gold base parallels are numbered to 10. Between these two cards, Peterson supplies the more intricate surface pattern; Reese supplies the stronger solid-color frame. Both keep the USA uniform prominent.

The wider base checklist includes Red /399, Blue /299, Purple /199, Blue Ice /99, Mojo /25, Black Gold /5, and both Gold Vinyl and Black Finite 1/1s. Those are full-product checklist entries; format-specific patterns also include Disco and Box Set versions. Use the precise parallel name alongside the card number when comparing copies, particularly where two patterns share a color or print run.

Skenes signatures and a four-player USA connection

Skenes is USAB Throwback Signatures No. 3, numbered to 99, with a Gold version to 10. Dylan Crews is No. 17 in that family, numbered to 199, also with Gold to 10. The different base autograph numbering is useful detail: the set name alone doesn't tell you how many copies a particular signer has.

The USA Baseball Greats quad autograph brings together Skenes, Ryan Zimmerman, Alex Gordon and Ethan Holliday on a card numbered to 25. Panini's official launch overview highlights that combination. It's an unusual grouping whose common thread is USA Baseball, rather than one professional club or one generation.

The autograph checklist also separates collegiate signers from the 18U, 16U/17U, 15U and 13U/14U groups. Memorabilia branches into Jumbo Materials, flag pieces, hat logos and batting-glove straps. That range gives the release a substantial national-program identity beyond the ten Color Blasts, with both signatures and equipment-related pieces contributing to the collection.

Hobby configuration, release date and price

Hobby released on April 3, 2026, according to GTS Distribution's release calendar coverage. A box contains 12 packs of 12 cards, or 144 cards, with averages of six autographs or memorabilia cards, 18 Prizm parallels, and 12 inserts or insert parallels. The six-hit figure combines signatures and memorabilia; it isn't a six-autograph configuration.

Panini's Hobby box is $120. The 12-pack format gives the 200-card base set a meaningful role alongside the hits, while the Prizm parallels provide the color-and-pattern chase. All-American, Fireworks, Prizmatic and Talisman each add a 25-card insert checklist.

For us, the most convincing part of Prizm USA Stars & Stripes is how clearly the photographs establish the subject. Witt's navy 18U uniform, Emerson's gray jersey in motion, and Peterson's collegiate pitching pose all feel at home in the same collection. Add the Skenes throwback autograph and the four-player USA Baseball Greats card, and the release has several distinct ways to tell that national-team story.
