An ancient coin and a piece of Coptic textile preserve very different kinds of history. The Ancient World Series 2 brings both into Pieces of the Past’s Eric C. Caren partnership, alongside an announced selection of Egyptian material, a Near Eastern spear fragment and a Pre-Columbian textile whorl. Manufacturer product details

Six packs and one relic

Each box contains six four-card packs and one relic. Relic packs can contain fewer cards because of the relic card’s size. The manufacturer advertises more than 100 cards across the release and an October 21 date for the 2026 edition.

The announced parallel ladder includes Green /99, Blue /75, Red /50, Gold /10 and Foil Gold 1/1, alongside the base version.

Material from several parts of the ancient world

The maker’s selection includes Greek or Roman coins dated approximately 500 BC–AD 1000, Song dynasty coins dated AD 960–1279, and Coptic textile dated approximately AD 300–800. It also identifies a Pre-Columbian whorl from Ecuador dated approximately AD 1000–1500.

The Egyptian selection includes funerary material, mask fragments and ceremonial beads, as well as material the maker describes as an ancient mummy fragment. These are the manufacturer’s material descriptions and approximate dates, rather than a claim that all relics share one civilization or period.

The distinction between the objects is the point of this release. The coin entries concern coinage; the textile and whorl concern fabric and its production; the funerary items concern burial practices. The card’s own identification of the enclosed material matters more than the broad Ancient World label.
