2026 Pieces of the Past Historical Premium: Inside the 640-Card Checklist
A 300-card base set anchors an unusually broad mix of history, art, science, mythology and relic combinations.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Historical Premium’s 640-card checklist reaches from George Washington and Marie Curie to Greek gods and the Lost World. The 2026 Pieces of the Past release combines a 300-card base set with 200 relic-card entries and seven 20-card insert sets. A Hobby box contains 16 four-card packs and two relics. The complete checklist structure
| Card family | Checklist entries |
|---|---|
| Base | 300 |
| Single Relic | 100 |
| Dual Relic | 25 |
| Triple Relic | 25 |
| Quad Relic | 25 |

The manufacturer's checklist totals 640 rows. Ovalocity, Pop Art, Immortalized, Greek Gods, Kings & Queens, Lost World and Retro Renaissance each have 20 entries. Their themes take the release beyond portraits of political leaders: mythology and dinosaurs sit alongside art and historical subjects. Full manufacturer checklist
Relic combinations have their own checklist positions
Quad Relic #451 combines George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and Abraham Lincoln. The next entry groups Washington, John Adams, Jefferson and James Madison. Those are specific four-subject cards, rather than four unrelated single relics that happen to share a box.
The parallel programs also differ by family. Base cards include Silver, Red /100, Gold /50 and several separately named 1/1 finishes. Single Relics move through Silver /50, Red /10 and Gold /5 before the 1/1 tier; Dual, Triple, Quad and Jumbo Relics use Silver /25, Red /10 and Gold /5. A base-card color therefore does not establish the numbering of a relic card with the same color name.
Historical Premium’s breadth is its defining feature: a large portrait checklist, themed art inserts and deliberately grouped relic subjects. The preview designs identify card families; the precise material represented by a relic remains specific to that card’s description.
