Pieces of the Past Mobsters Hobby box with eight packs and two relics

Mobsters Edition has two very different openings: an eight-pack Hobby box with two relics, and a two-pack Breaker box with one relic. Pieces of the Past builds both around a 100-card base selection, more than 50 inserts and 100 announced relic-card combinations. Hobby details, Breaker details

The Hobby box’s artwork carries a printed 2025 year, while its distribution release reporting places it in June 2026. The maker advertises the Breaker follow-up for November. The smaller format changes the card and relic counts; it is not simply a repackaged 32-card box. Dated release reporting

The historical cast extends beyond mob figures

Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky, Carlo Gambino, Bugsy Siegel and Frank Nitti share the selection with J. Edgar Hoover, Eliot Ness, Robert F. Kennedy and Thomas Dewey. Joseph D. Pistone appears under the name associated with Donnie Brasco. The resulting card selection includes people associated with organized crime, law enforcement and public office.

The announced relic categories include handwriting, cut signatures, vintage and presidential documents, stock certificates and mobster-related material. Those categories should be identified by the particular card’s material description; a portrait subject alone does not establish ownership of an enclosed object.

The Breaker preview

Breaker adds Frame 1/1 sketch cards to its advertised chases. The original Hobby description also advertises 1/1s and numbered parallels of /100 or lower. Those are different statements about the programs; they do not establish that every ordinary base card is serial-numbered.
