Wild Card Day of the Dead Mammoth Hobby Al Pacino autograph-design preview

2026 Wild Card Day of the Dead Mammoth builds its identity around ornate sugar-skull artwork and bilingual card designs. Athletes and entertainment figures share the checklist, giving the collection a reach that extends from Lionel Messi and Larry Bird to Al Pacino and Christopher Lloyd.

Wild Card lists a July 2026 National Exclusive edition and an October 2026 Hobby edition. The Hobby checklist contains 98 subjects and separates English Day of the Dead cards from Spanish Día de los Muertos designs.

Al Pacino and Charles Oakley previews

Pacino’s official Hobby autograph-design preview places his portrait between large white sugar skulls, flowers and an ornate frame. Lime green and yellow accents give the lower portion a vivid glow, while the dark portrait keeps the face central. The nameplate sits below the white signing panel.

Charles Oakley’s Spanish-language preview uses Día de los Muertos across the top, with an orange, red and turquoise ornamental border. His basketball image is framed by a noticeably warmer palette than Pacino’s. The two official previews show their autograph layouts with the signing areas blank.

The wider Hobby roster crosses several collecting worlds: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Nolan Ryan, Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Mike Tyson, Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon and Robert De Niro all appear in the subject list. That crossover is central to the release’s personality.

Hobby’s one-of-one structure

The English and Spanish Base designs use c and d plates across their listed foil boards. Wild Card identifies each exact card as a 1/1. Rainbow includes signed and unsigned entries, while the availability of autograph and unsigned versions differs on other boards.

The True Color Match 1 of 1 branches use Rainbow foil, a and b plates and two poses per subject. The separate True 1 of 1 branches also use a and b plates with two poses. English and Spanish designs have their own checklist entries within those groups.

That makes the wording, pose and plate part of the card’s identity alongside the subject and foil. The appeal of Pacino’s framed portrait is quite different from Oakley’s basketball scene, even though both share the collection’s sugar-skull setting.

National and Hobby editions

The National Exclusive checklist lists 61 subjects and three main families: Base, Mammoth True Color Match 1 of 1 and True 1 of 1. The Hobby checklist expands the subject list and lays out the bilingual branches in greater detail. These are separate edition checklists within the same Day of the Dead Mammoth collection.

For collectors drawn to elaborate illustrated frames and sports–entertainment crossover subjects, the release has a particularly clear visual identity. Wild Card’s 2026 release index records the July and October edition groupings.
