2025–26 Prestige EFL: 72 Clubs, Okocha Autos and Blank Slate
From Wrexham parallels to Harry Kane at Millwall, Prestige gives the English Football League a collection with a long memory.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Jay-Jay Okocha in a Bolton shirt, framed by a giant red camera shutter, is an excellent introduction to 2025–26 Panini Prestige EFL. His Shutter Signatures card gives the white kit plenty of space above a broad blue autograph, with concentric rings pulling the eye toward the player. It's a card that has a particular club and a particular football memory in mind.
That runs through this debut. Panini's first U.S. collection covering all 72 EFL clubs brings Championship, League One and League Two teams together in a 300-card base set. Its 2026 arrival also gives collectors autographs and inserts that revisit earlier chapters in familiar careers: Harry Kane at Millwall, Gareth Bale at Southampton and Wayne Rooney at Derby County.
Okocha, Kane and the club names that make the autographs
Okocha is Shutter Signatures No. 38, with Xtra Time Gold numbered to 10 and Black to one. The shutter blades create a strong circular frame without pushing his photograph into a tiny window. His shirt, captain's armband and the large signature panel all remain easy to see. The autograph sits below the portrait rather than running through the kit, a pleasing separation in a design with this much going on.
The complete Panini checklist places Rooney with Derby County, Nwankwo Kanu with Portsmouth and Gary Lineker with Leicester City in the same autograph family. Distinctive Ink adds Kane with Millwall, Bale with Southampton and Alan Shearer with Blackburn Rovers. Those team assignments are a major part of the attraction: this is a chance to collect a different club chapter from the one that might dominate a player's other cards.
The signer list also has room for the 2025–26 EFL. Jaden Philogene appears for Ipswich Town and Taylor Harwood-Bellis for Southampton in Distinctive Ink; Kieffer Moore represents Wrexham in Shutter Signatures. The result gives a club collector several directions to pursue within the autographs, from a 2025–26 squad connection to a familiar name from an earlier era.
A 300-card base set with room for all 72 clubs
The base checklist reaches well beyond a handful of headline teams. Nestory Irankunda is No. 25 for Watford, Nathan Broadhead No. 106 for Wrexham and Daniel Kanu No. 255 for Walsall. These three official previews also show how much a parallel can change the same underlying design: a full player photograph, diagonal name strip and EFL badge remain in place while the background does the decorating.

Irankunda's dark treatment makes Watford's yellow shirt and red shorts stand out immediately. Broadhead's warm gold-colored background gives Wrexham's red shirt a much louder surround. Kanu's preview switches to pale radiating streaks behind Walsall's red-and-black stripes. They're recognizably the same card family, but the color and pattern produce very different moods.

The numbered base ladder is Red /299, Blue /225, Purple /99, Orange /49, Pink /25, Gold /10, Green /5 and Black 1/1. Diamond, Galaxy, Hyper and Sunburst add unnumbered patterns. That leaves both color and texture to consider when choosing a version of an individual player, with the checklist supplying a clear distinction between the numbered colors and the unnumbered treatments.

Haji Wright gets the whole canvas on Blank Slate
Haji Wright's Blank Slate No. 8 is one of the most appealing designs in the release. Coventry City's sky-blue kit fills an almost bare, canvas-textured field; a fine gold border, gold Prestige script and black brushstroke nameplate supply the framing. His pink boots provide a small, sharp contrast. With so little scenery behind him, the running pose carries the card.

Blank Slate has 25 subjects, including Jay Stansfield, Jeremy Monga, Irankunda and Bale. City Limits has another 25, with selections including Philogene, Kane and Frank Lampard. Panini identifies both as super-rare inserts; it does not give them numerical insertion odds in its product descriptions. The two checklists offer different selections, so a player's place in one doesn't establish a card in the other.
Youth Movement keeps the action photograph
Alfie Gilchrist's Youth Movement No. 23 takes another approach. His West Bromwich Albion stripes, the green pitch and the out-of-focus crowd remain visible inside a navy frame, beneath oversized metallic-style lettering. Where Wright's Blank Slate removes nearly everything around the player, this card preserves the match setting. The contrast gives the insert lineup more variety than a series of different titles on the same layout.

Youth Movement contains 25 cards, including Monga and Irankunda, with Gold parallels to 10 and Black parallels to one. Other 25-card insert families include Fan Favorites, Fuzion, Heroes, Living Legends, Power House, Prestigious Pros and Unforgettable. For a club collector, those themes extend the search beyond the base roster and into a mixture of younger players and established names.
Which Prestige EFL box fits the cards you want?
Panini's Mega Box costs $45 and contains 10 five-card packs. It averages three numbered parallels, five Hyper parallels and four inserts. The blaster costs $29.95 for six five-card packs, averaging one numbered parallel, four Diamond parallels and four inserts. Hyper versus Diamond is a real format distinction, alongside the Mega's extra cards and numbered parallels.
For an autograph-led opening, Hobby Preferred is the format to examine: Panini specifies an average of one autograph, 10 numbered parallels and 20 inserts per box in its release overview. The Mega and blaster descriptions invite collectors to find autographs but do not include one in their stated box averages. That makes Hobby Preferred the more direct fit for someone drawn primarily to Okocha, Kane or the other signers; the smaller formats put their distinctive parallel patterns closer to the center of the opening.
