2025–26 Upper Deck Ice Hockey: Premieres Rookie Levels, Autographs and Patch Cards

2025–26 Upper Deck Ice divides its 100 Ice Premieres rookies into four numbered levels, with Beckett Sennecke closing the /99 group at #200. That tiered rookie structure is the backbone of the release. The regular base set has 100 cards, from Cutter Gauthier #1 to Aliaksei Protas #100. Those entries are 70-point cards, with two base cards per pack. Ice Premieres occupies #101–200, also at 70 points, but its numbering changes by level.

Four Ice Premieres rookie levels

Owen Sillinger opens Level 4, Jakub Skarek opens Level 3 and Ozzy Wiesblatt opens Level 2. Artyom Levshunov begins Level 1. The Level 1 group contains the following ten cards. Official rookie levels

Gold parallels put all 100 Ice Premieres rookie entries at /25, while Champagne Gold is 1/1. Sennecke’s Gold preview shows how the metallic frame changes the regular Premieres design. A /25 Gold from Level 4 and a /25 Gold from Level 1 have the same parallel numbering even though their underlying base rookies have different editions.

Glacial Graphs and Hand Stamped approach signatures differently

Glacial Graphs has 25 autograph entries. Its Prime Black parallel has 19 entries, with Levshunov’s teammate Alex Vlasic GG-AV listed /50. The Kaprizov preview gives the signature its own broad blue panel, with the player photograph alongside it. That layout makes the autograph the dominant feature.

Hand Stamped has 28 autograph entries, from Levshunov HS-AL through Zayne Parekh HS-ZP. The Red parallel has 27 entries, with the opening Levshunov card numbered to 10. Michael Misa’s preview uses a large red seal and gold signature treatment, a markedly different composition from Glacial Graphs’ rectangular panel. Cool Threads separates jerseys, patches and signed versions

Cool Threads contains 25 jersey entries. The opening Levshunov CT-AL is /249; his Patch parallel is /25. The autograph selections are smaller, with 17 entries in Auto Jersey and 17 in Auto Patch. His signed jersey is /49 and signed patch /15. These are the stated editions for those exact entries, rather than a numbering promise for every player in the group.

The Jimmy Snuggerud Auto Patch preview gives its multicolor material a wide window above the signature. Keeping the patch and autograph in separate zones makes both readable, while the /15 preview numbering supplies the edition. For someone who wants a rookie signature and a substantial patch on the same card, this is a more material-led option than either Hand Stamped or Glacial Graphs. Official Cool Threads entries

Exquisite Crystal adds another physical format

Exquisite Crystal has 50 entries, from David Pastrnak EC-1 to Oliver Moore EC-50. Upper Deck describes its material as Plexi at 60 points. Makar’s preview surrounds his Colorado photograph with a faceted white, silver and gold frame; the visual effect comes from the architecture around the photograph as much as from the player image.

Ice also includes explicitly labeled update cards from earlier seasons, including 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 groups. A Jason Robertson 2021 Update Exquisite Collection 2003–04 Rookie Auto Patch Gold is not part of the new #101–200 Ice Premieres run. The year and full subset name preserve that distinction when comparing rookie cards. Ice’s appeal is in those concrete choices: a numbered Premieres rookie, a signature-centered Glacial Graphs card, a seal-style Hand Stamped autograph or a patch-forward Cool Threads design.
