2026 Onyx Vintage Extended Baseball Puts Ten Autos in the Mega

Onyx built the Mega Box for people who open a pack looking for ink. Each of its ten packs carries an on-card autograph. Hobby makes you work through 30 packs for five signatures, but it gives you 50 more cards and one more parallel. It’s a rare case where the bigger box for autographs is the smaller box for cards. The Extended lineup puts Paul Skenes and Nick Kurtz alongside seven of the first ten picks from the 2026 MLB Draft. It also reaches into the next draft class. That mix is what makes the ink interesting here. You can pull a pitcher who already has a Cy Young or a player whose first full pro season is still ahead of him. Hobby vs. Mega

Hobby is the better fit for a collector who wants to see more of Extended’s base cards and colored borders in one sitting. At five signatures across 30 packs, most of the rip is about the cards around the ink. The Mega concentrates twice as many signatures into one-third as many packs. Skenes, Kurtz and the first three draft picks

Skenes and Kurtz give this release an easy Pittsburgh-and-A’s pair. Skenes won the 2025 NL Cy Young, and Kurtz won the 2025 AL Rookie of the Year. The preview calls out special inscriptions numbered to 10 in both boxes, alongside limited parallels. The sell sheet also lists colored borders for base cards and autographs. Diamond Avengers is where Extended gets loud. Compare Franklin Arias’s red-accented signed card with his Avengers card. Onyx uses the same batting photograph, then puts it in front of a blue-and-red burst with big white lettering and a yellow comic-style number box. When does Extended come out?

Southern Hobby schedules both boxes for Monday, November 9, 2026. GTS Distribution’s calendar lists November 16 for Extended, and Onyx’s sell sheet gives a mid-November window. Check the date with your seller if you’re planning a release-day rip. Hobby is OA26BBVEXT and Mega is OA26BBVEXTMB. The sell sheet also calls the ten-autograph box Hobby Plus.
