2026 Absolute Football Countdown Calendar: 24 Packs, a Kaboom Chase

Kaboom gets the big lettering on the box; Eli Manning gets the snowflakes. The 2026 Panini Absolute Football Countdown Calendar combines that familiar comic-book chase with a holiday treatment that is especially clear in Manning’s preview: a deep blue field full of snowflakes, framed in white and pale aqua. The October 28 buying window

Panini’s direct-store countdown points to Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at approximately 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern. That time is calculated from the live countdown; Panini has not posted a written time-zone label on the offer. The calendar is currently marked Coming Soon, with its price and purchase limit still to be announced. Official calendar offer

This is the Countdown Calendar, SKU 2-20009-08. Its format is 24 three-card packs behind 24 doors, totaling 72 cards; cases contain eight calendars. A pack a day carries the opening through December 24 if you start on December 1. Configuration

White Snow, with Manning in blue

The Eli Manning preview makes good use of his blue uniform. Large snowflakes surround the quarterback without covering his face or throwing posture, while the white frame bends around the photograph. Pale aqua lettering and trim keep the winter treatment consistent from the Absolute logo to the nameplate. There is plenty happening around Manning, but he remains the first thing you see. Official Manning preview

Panini specifically advertises Base White Snow for this calendar. The packaging takes a different visual route: bright illustrated panels featuring Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald alongside CJ Carr, Dante Moore, Julian Sayin and Trinidad Chambliss. That mix gives the box a football-generations theme, with the snowy Manning card supplying the seasonal look inside. The package artwork is a preview of the product’s presentation, not a complete checklist. Panini packaging Product details

Holiday Suit memorabilia and the Kaboom chase

Panini advertises one Holiday Suit memorabilia card and 24 inserts or insert parallels per calendar, on average. The insert count works out to one per three-card opening across the calendar on average, although that does not specify what each individual pack contains. Holiday Suit gives the format a memorabilia component alongside the snow-themed cards. Calendar contents

Kaboom is the ultra-rare chase, with exclusive parallels also advertised. Panini has not supplied pack odds on this offer, so the 24-pack format cannot be translated into a Kaboom probability. What the calendar does put together is specific: White Snow, a Holiday Suit memorabilia average and the chance at Absolute’s comic-book insert, spread across two dozen small openings.
