2026 Donruss Winter Tin: Candy Canes for Tillman and Fitzgerald
Arizona red meets peppermint stripes. CJ Carr and Julian Sayin join the holiday treatment, while Manning and Moore take the scenic route.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Pat Tillman’s red Arizona jersey has found a frame with the same appetite for red. The Candy Cane Stripe preview from 2026 Donruss Football Winter Tin runs diagonal red-and-white bands around his photograph, with thinner stripes turning the corners of the inner border. The nameplate stays pale and simple. It is unmistakably a holiday parallel without asking Tillman to share the card with a cartoon snowman.
Larry Fitzgerald, CJ Carr and Julian Sayin receive the same treatment in Panini’s Winter Tin preview. The release also brings familiar illustrated chases—Downtown, Uptown and On the Horizon—alongside Uptown Holiday. The immediate attraction, though, is that striped base design. Four photographs are enough to show how differently it works with different uniforms.
Tillman and Fitzgerald give the stripes two Arizona settings
Tillman’s preview has red in both the uniform and the border, with white trousers and helmet keeping the central photograph bright. The dark inner outline separates the field from the peppermint pattern. Because the photograph is still a conventional football image, the seasonal design sits around the player rather than replacing the football subject.
Fitzgerald’s black uniform changes the balance. His photograph has a darker central shape, while the red jersey accents and the Arizona name treatment link back to the frame. The two cards would make a particularly coherent Arizona pairing: the same parallel, two familiar players and a clear difference in how the uniform uses the available color.
Neither pictured Candy Cane card carries a serial stamp on its front. Panini identifies the treatment as a parallel, but has not supplied a numerical print run in the Winter Tin feature. Its appeal in these previews comes from the deliberate seasonal pattern and the player photography, rather than a number we can attach to it.
Carr and Sayin bring the college color
Carr’s navy Notre Dame jersey and gold helmet give the red border a contrasting center. He is set in a passing stance, with the ball held near his chest and a broad area of dark blue above the white nameplate. Sayin’s Ohio State red repeats the color-match idea from Tillman, with gray trousers and a silver helmet breaking up the red.
Those two previews also explain the mix on the packaging. This Donruss release brings collegiate players and established football names into the same holiday format. The school names remain prominent on Carr and Sayin’s cards; the seasonal frame does not erase that distinction between the college subjects and the veteran photographs.
Three packs and several kinds of winter parallel
The official packaging preview shows three packs of five cards, or 15 cards in all. Its black background carries large silver-and-white snowflakes, with a group of college and veteran players across the front. Peyton Manning occupies the upper part of the design; Sayin, Emmitt Smith, Drew Brees, Dante Moore and Calvin Johnson fill out the group.
The packaging also names Sled, Yellow Lava, Snowman and White Scope among its exclusive parallels. Candy Cane Stripe is the format’s prominently illustrated treatment in the accompanying feature, so the holiday identity extends beyond one red-and-white border. Panini has not published a complete Winter Tin configuration in the feature that establishes quantities of each parallel or a guaranteed autograph or memorabilia card.
The 15-card Winter Tin preview is a separate format from 2026 Donruss Football Hobby, whose larger box configuration and illustrated cards have their own guide.
Manning’s city lights and Moore’s Oregon garden
Manning’s Uptown preview leaves the striped frame behind. His orange Denver uniform stands above a bright skyline and bridge shapes, with a large horse silhouette behind him and a light-bulb marquee carrying the Uptown label below. It is a city-and-team illustration built around a full-length quarterback pose.
The displayed Manning card is labeled Uptown; Panini separately names Uptown Holiday among the release’s chases. Keeping those names distinct leaves room to appreciate the pictured card without turning it into a different variant.
Moore’s On the Horizon goes wonderfully floral. Ducks, roses and curling green stems surround his green-and-yellow Oregon uniform, with a soft pink background instead of an arena or stadium. The horizontal shape gives the illustration room to spread out around his throwing pose. Manning gets the nightlife; Moore appears to have booked the entire garden.
Panini calls the named illustrated chases randomly inserted super-short prints. Numerical Winter Tin pull rates have not been announced. Its November 5 feature directs collectors to Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target and Walmart, while an exact retail release day and price remain unannounced.
Tillman is our pick from the Candy Cane previews. His red jersey makes the frame feel deliberately chosen, and Fitzgerald supplies a strong companion in black. The illustrated chases add spectacle, but those two Arizona cards are the clearest argument for the holiday treatment itself: a familiar Donruss base structure with a border that fully commits to the season.
