Wild Card Haunted Holidays Slim Gem: Ghosts, Rubber Hose and Baseball Duos
Amon-Ra gets a frozen ghost story, McCaffrey gets a mischievous companion, and Jacob Wilson and Nick Kurtz become cartoon teammates. These unusually tall metal cards give the holiday crossover a look of its own.
We update this release guide as verified product details develop.

Amon-Ra St. Brown running through a frozen ghost town is a pretty good introduction to Haunted Holidays Slim Gem. The football action fills the lower half of the card, while an enormous title, a grinning lantern and a pale moon turn the rest into a small winter ghost story. The unusually tall shape gives both ideas room.
This October 2026 Wild Card release brings together 63 subjects and eight subsets on Slim Gem metal. Its manufacturer checklist separates photographic holiday scenes, Midnight Mischief characters, Merry Monsters and several Rubber Hose treatments. The strongest reason to explore it is the artwork: those families look quite different even when they share a holiday theme.
Amon-Ra’s moonlit field
St. Brown’s black uniform and bright blue helmet pull the eye down the card. Above him, the lettering resembles an old storybook cover; behind him, the bare branches and distant buildings give the scene depth. Snow along the name frame connects the football photograph to the winter setting. It is an extravagant composition, but the player remains the focus.
The blue accents are especially effective. His helmet, shoulder stripes and name panel repeat the same cool color against the near-black landscape. The gold lettering supplies enough warmth to keep the whole thing from becoming a gray night scene.
Haunted Holidays Base uses six settings, including Candy Lane, Ghost Pond and Tree Farm. On Rainbow foilboard, its non-autograph color ladder runs from Black /1 through Orange /10; other colors have their own numbering. A player-and-scene pairing therefore has a more specific identity than the umbrella Slim Gem title alone.
McCaffrey’s ghost and Fury’s goblin
Christian McCaffrey’s Midnight Mischief card is much warmer. Gold light runs through the narrow street behind him, and a smiling ghost hovers above his helmet. The ghost’s burgundy cap echoes the darker red details in the photograph. Its friendly expression changes the mood: this is a lively little haunting, with McCaffrey supplying the movement.
Tyson Fury’s True Color Match preview makes the setting more personal to its subject. A punching bag, a wall clock and ring ropes establish a boxing gym. The green goblin leans forward above Fury, whose red gloves and trunks dominate the lower section. Their similar forward-facing poses make the monster feel like a second character in the scene.
The two cards show why Midnight Mischief works as a separate design family. St. Brown’s ghost is tucked into the scenery; McCaffrey’s and Fury’s companions occupy a full layer above the athlete. The elongated format lets the creature and player share the card without shrinking either into a corner.
Rubber Hose changes the whole picture
The Jacob Wilson–Nick Kurtz dual-autograph preview at the top of this guide turns both players into cartoons. White gloves, rounded faces and curved limbs establish the Rubber Hose style, while green jerseys, names and positions preserve their baseball identities.
It is a pleasing horizontal arrangement. The two players stand together in the middle, their name panels extend outward, and the broad pale signature areas give the composition breathing room. Small stockings, a snowman and jack-o’-lantern imagery carry the holiday crossover around the edge. The red Rubber Hose title and green uniforms provide nearly all the strong color against that busy black-and-white frame.
Wild Card lists 17 dual-autograph pairings, including Wilson/Kurtz, Joe Montana/Steph Curry and Kylian Mbappé/Lionel Messi. The first pairing makes a teammate card; the latter two create very different cross-generation or cross-sport combinations. My favorite visual idea is Wilson and Kurtz standing shoulder to shoulder: the cartoon treatment makes the partnership part of the composition.
The eight subset families
The checklist’s eight families are Haunted Holidays Base; Midnight Mischief; Midnight Mischief True Color Match; Merry Monsters True 1 of 1; Rubber Hose; Rubber Hose True 1 of 1; Rubber Hose Gold Vinyl; and Rubber Hose Dual Autographs.
For an autograph search, use the subset’s own roster. The regular Midnight Mischief and Rubber Hose autograph lists each contain eight names; their non-autograph player lists are broader. Joe Montana and Shaquille O’Neal appear in the separate True 1 of 1 autograph roster. A player’s place on the overall checklist does not establish an autograph in every design family.
For me, the photographic and cartoon cards answer different collecting interests within the same release. St. Brown’s blue-and-black winter scene lets a familiar football photograph lead. Wilson and Kurtz are more playful, using their shared uniform colors and cartoon poses to make a baseball duo feel like its own little scene. That variety gives Haunted Holidays an identity beyond simply putting a pumpkin beside a player.
